Trip to the base II July 2001
Camp Hero Underground
Our second trip to Camp Hero was something many had feared. We were advised that actually going UNDERGROUND was daring to take the risk of never returning to the surface again. But we knew that we had to do it, we came back from the danger, the terror, and the fear, to bring you these EXCLUSIVE photos of Camp Hero Undergrond.
Left: Entrance to bunker. This hallway was narrow and we noticed the strange arrangement of doors in this hallway. Note this hallway is way too thin for someone Preston Nichols' size to get through. Also note blood on barred gate. Center: Inside the main bunker room (accessed through hallway in picture one, left) The photo wasn't taken at an angle, this is the actual angle of the room, strange? We found a copy of one of the Montauk Books inside this room and it was defaced with odd symbols. Right: One of the 'psyc' rooms. Note the animal print is only at the top half of the wall, this is because when the Montauk boys were given drugs they floated upward and did not see the bottom half of the room.We felt a strange presence in this room, time cloud? Or the spirit of the beast again? Who knows?
Left:Entrance to psychedelic rooms and polyrectum chamber. Center: Psychedelic room. Note this room is very small, it was 2m x 3.3m in size. The ripped paper is obviously where terrified souls have torn at the walls to get out. Brad felt sick in this room. He thinks he might begin to have memories of being a Montauk boy. He certainly has nightmares about the prospect of anal sex with Preston Nichols. Right: This was the most staggering photo we had taken so far. The tunnel was 8km in distance and went in a semi circle around the side of the main bunker entrance area. We walked through this tunnel, mostly in darkness, we heard screams and scratching from the inside wall. Are there people still in there? We could only make out a few words but the voices did mention 'greys' and 'Wilson clan'. We listened to these screams and moans for over two hours. "Wilson Clan....Wilson Clan......Wilson Clan..., are greys". It has to be noted here that Jed thought they were saying "Wilson Clam" but we can't be sure. I have never heard of a 'Wilson Clam' but Jed insists they are easy to catch off the west coast.
Left: Radar tower. Center: Radar room inside radar tower. We found plenty of radio shack spare parts here, even some good tape and a Moody Blues tour t-shirt. Note several hanging cut wires, always a sign of something evil that had taken place there. Right: This room was stunning, all the equipment was still in working order and switched on. At this point we thought we had ventured too far, and any minute a 1982 version of Preston Nichols was going to come in and 'charge' us with his rod. We messed around with some of the dials for a while but nothing seemed to happen, except Jed's left ear started bleeding, but nothing serious.
Left: After we left the radar rooms we headed out to this gate. Our car stopped dead at the overhead wires. Center: We parked our car outside this hut as Jed needed a shit. While he was inside we heard deep groaning, we thought it was Jed. Then he came running out with his pants down screaming "There's a fucking dead cow back there, and I have just stood in my own shit". Right: The half dead 'cow'. Have cattle mutilations finally reached the Montauk Base?
We know you will all sleep easier in your bunks tonight, knowing we are back safe from our trip to the base II, Camp Hero Underground. The memory of the trip is still clear in our minds, way too clear for some! Jed's hearing has almost returned and Brad did not start having memories of being a 'montauk boy'. What did happen though was something none of us could have expected, or prepared for; Brad got a call late on our return, the voice on the line was shaky and all he said was "I am a survivor of the Montauk Project and you guys are my last chance".
